Fun with Directions Lite is an innovative application for the iPad, offering an interactive approach to enhance listening skills, following directions, working memory, and auditory language processing. The app ranges from simple directives like "Touch the cat" to more complex instructions, providing children with a platform for continual growth and learning. Featuring vibrant visuals set against a clean background, this game eliminates visual distractions, while engaging sound effects and surprises maintain interest.
The Lite version introduces two fundamental concepts - "give" and "touch." It supports data tracking for up to two users, with an additional guest user option.
Key features include customizable settings for data tracking, interactive direction advancement options, touch functionality variations, text display preferences, and different difficulty levels - easy, intermediate, and advanced.
Adding value to the app is the "Superstar Direction" feature, which promotes memory retention as well as expressive language skills by recording and playing back the child's responses. These surprise questions can be configured at various intervals or deactivated.
